““I was already familiar with some blends, like Trinity, Autophagy, Matcha, Seven Sages, Spice and Peel, Pine Pollen, etc… For myself and mother fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. I saw some benefits when my mon had her sciatica pain and was relieved using spice and peel. “I am just getting over covid (didn’t get tested but had all the classic symptoms). The first week was lots of ups and downs with body aches, but not too bad. In the second week it got a lot more intense, with persistent lung and sinus inflammation that made it very hard to breathe. “From Chronic pain to Pain free, I honestly didn’t really think I’d get there even though I had great experiences with the other blends I just thought being pain free was beyond me. “I have been a member of the group for more than a year now, but got my first blends in December 2019. I have NOT been taking the blends regularly though. In 2012 I fell down the connecting bridge step down in Frankfurt Germany and ended up with a 3rd tear in my ligaments and tendons. The first 4 years were seamless, but the last 4 years slowly turned up hell. With several treatments along with Ayurveda as well, the only option I had was surgery. This impaired my ability to do daily chores severely let alone participating in challenges here. Being able to walk well was more important than weight loss for me. I need to lose about 40lbs. So finally had my surgery on July 2, 2020 for a complete reconstruction of left ankle ligaments and tendons. “A little backstory on my review—I’m turning 33 this next month and for the past 17.5 years, I’ve had a condition called Prinzmetal Angina (also known as Variant Angina)—it’s where the coronary arteries spasm, and it hurts. Bad. The first heart attack I had was when I was 15. I passed out on the way to the hospital and recovery never fully happened. But I was hopeful back then. I went to doctor after doctor and had just about every type of test done. I had constant pain, but then an extra bad spasm would come along, and it would leave me unable to do anything for hours. Nitroglycerin became my new buddy—but for some reason, I’m super sensitive to medicines and so the headache from the nitro would lay me out just like the pain from the arterial spasming. Still, I managed to be active. Back then, despite being in constant pain, I was still able to keep my strength up. I tried medicine after medicine, but the relief never came. If you’ve suffered from Prinzmetal, you know what I’m talking about. After a while, you do your best to ignore the pain and try and get on with your life. Well, then in 2016 I suffered a major heart attack 1500 miles away from home. And I never got better. There were a few times trying various products I’d get some relief and I’ll tell you what—even a bit of relief helps and feels like a godsend when the pain won’t stop. “First I want to say that I am fortunate to take a large majority of the blends offered. “I’ve been dealing with health issues for 7-8 years now. When they started, I was around 35 - lifting weights and jogging every day, feeling like I was aging like a fine wine to…. Breaking my health somehow. It most likely due stress at the time. I was crazy Type A personality but have worked diligently on my mind and spirit since then so now I’m just as cool as the Fonz 24-7. But I’ve never really gotten back to full health. I’ve seen 17 doctors since then. My symptoms are in line with auto immune issues and NO ONE CAN TELL ME WTF is WRONG. “Alright, I’ve got to talk about Apigenin for a moment here. I told Gavin some of my issues, and he got back to me (within minutes, the guy’s a beast) with his recommendations. Now, it took me a bit to figure out the right timing to take Apigenin, so I’d encourage you to give it a few days and if you notice anything negative, try what I did first and then see where you are from there. What I learned is that if I took it first thing in the morning and on its own, it gave me a powerful boost for the day, lowered the heart problems I’ve dealt with for years, and gave me a bigger drive (both libido and life, though I think both are highly related). I’ll go into a bit more detail here. “Alright, this review is a bit overdue, but I wanted to have a chance to thoroughly test this because when you have a chronic heart condition, I don’t think you can just take something for a week or two and then make a judgment call. So, if you’d like the short version: it’s good stuff, and I recommend it. Now for my bigger review: The very first time I took EKG I felt my heart muscle literally relax. It’s a very interesting/weird feeling, but it just sort of went “ahhh” and I felt my heart just relax and ease into the proper beat rhythm. “So every year I go and get wood for the winter. Where I live, it makes the most sense to burn wood for heat, plus it’s enjoyable. Usually. Just yesterday, I was loading the wood into my trailer, tossed one of the big logs up on the stack, and my left shoulder popped three times. It hurt for a minute, but then got back to normal mostly, but with the promise of a debt of pain. Like the stubborn cuss I am, I kept loading wood and tossing it. And just like my shoulder promised, I could barely move it come bedtime. In fact, it hurt so bad it kept me up most of the night. If I take Peel at night, I stay awake, so I suffered through it and then come morning--you better believe the first thing I did was make me up a cup of hot cocoa (not the alkalized, fake crap, but the good stuff) with half a teaspoon of 20:1 Peel (and Spice too, because mixing the two packs one helluva punch). Within about twenty minutes, the pain and tightness in my shoulder fell away, and I had full mobility again. I love this stuff! How I typically use Peel is for muscle recovery. After a hard workout (or in this case being dumb and stubborn), I load up on the Peel and it helps the soreness go away faster than just about anything else I’ve tried. A couple months ago, I was on a trip with my wife, bent over and had a muscle spasm in my back. Felt like a geezer; I could barely move (for some reason, every so often I get muscle spasms in my low back; started after my first surgery when I was 19). Ibuprofen didn’t touch it, and I didn’t have access to any Peel for the day. But when we got home half a day later, I did a massive dose (1 teaspoon Peel 1 teaspoon Spice) and the pain lessened. Next day, I did the same and kept up the high does for three days, and within that time, all of the terrible spasms went away. I lowered the dose for a few days, but kept it higher than normal, just to allow for more healing, and it worked beautifully. From what I’ve seen, typical treatment for this type of spasm is pretty strong muscle relaxants plus opiates depending on the doctor for ten days to two weeks. One last story. My daughter broke her arm on our trampoline this last year.
