Levator ani muscle group

In depth
The sling of muscle supporting the pelvic organs — the levator ani group, which contracts rhythmically at orgasm and can be trained deliberately. It is the best-evidenced intervention in this whole area, and it is not a supplement: strengthening it changes measured sexual outcomes in both sexes.
What drives it
Testosterone increases it.
The levator ani and bulbocavernosus are classical androgen-dependent muscles whose mass tracks testosterone. PMID 29280355
Estrogen balance increases it.
Estrogen maintains urogenital and pelvic-floor connective tissue and muscle integrity. doi 10.1371/journal.pone.0349371
What it drives
It increases Orgasm.
10.1016/j.esxm.2021.100441 — Meta-analysis of 21 randomized trials: pelvic floor muscle training improved arousal (1.49; 95% CI 0.13-2.85) and orgasm (1.55; 95% CI 0.13-2.96). reviewers grade the certainty very low — wide intervals, high heterogeneity. It increases Sexual function.
10.3390/medicina62071412 — pelvic floor muscle training improved arousal (1.49; 95% confidence interval, 0.13-2.85), orgasm (1.55; 95% confidence interval, 0.13-2.96), satisfaction (1.46; 95% confidence interval, 0.14-2.77), pain…. doi 10.3390/medicina62071412 · PMC12440505
It increases Female libido.
10.1016/j.esxm.2021.100441 — Women who received pelvic floor muscle exercise training had increased sexual desire, arousal, satisfaction, and orgasm, fewer lubrication needs, and less pain during sexual intercourse. doi 10.1016/j.esxm.2021.100441 · PMC12440505
It increases Ejaculatory control.
10.4103/aja.aja_30_18 — The evaluated studies consistently demonstrated that pelvic floor muscle training significantly improved IELT and reduced the severity of PE. doi 10.4103/aja.aja_30_18 · PMC12440505
