Curdione inhibited PAF- and thrombin-induced human platelet aggregation dose-dependently, lowered P-selectin expression, raised cyclic AMP and reduced calcium mobilization. The authors note their tail-thrombosis result might be explained by vasodilation, so the grade rests on the platelet mechanism.
