Graph vocabulary

The published causal map at /graph.jsonld uses schema.org for everything it can. These are the predicates schema.org does not define. Each one resolves to its anchor on this page, so a parser following the isb: namespace reaches a definition rather than a 404.

isb:actsOnPathway

An ingredient acts on this biological pathway. The grade on the ingredient page states how strong the published evidence for that link is.

Used in /graph.jsonld as actsOnPathway; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:addressedByBlend

A formula whose ingredients act on pathways that drive this condition. It is a map of pathway coverage and NOT a claim that the formula treats the condition.

Used in /graph.jsonld as addressedByBlend; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:carriedInBlend

This ingredient is carried in this formula. The inverse of containsBotanical.

Used in /graph.jsonld as carriedInBlend; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:category

A descriptive grouping used on this site.

Used in /graph.jsonld as category.

isb:connectedPathway

This pathway is connected to another pathway in the published causal map.

Used in /graph.jsonld as connectedPathway; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:containsBotanical

This formula contains this botanical, phytochemical, extract or mineral.

Used in /graph.jsonld as containsBotanical; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:drivenByPathway

This condition is driven by this biological pathway.

Used in /graph.jsonld as drivenByPathway; its value is the @id of another node.

isb:highestIngredientGrade

The highest evidence grade held by any ONE ingredient in this formula, on any ONE pathway, under the rubric at /learn/how-evidence-is-graded.html. It is a property of an ingredient, not of the formula: it does NOT mean the formula has been tested, and 0 of 68 formulas here have been trialed as a complete product.

Used in /graph.jsonld as highestIngredientGrade.

isb:modulatedByBlend

This pathway is modulated by this formula, because the formula carries ingredients graded on it.

Used in /graph.jsonld as modulatedByBlend; its value is the @id of another node.
